José James is known for his “jazzy” style of new UK soul, but in this song he presents his new taste to us. It’s harder than ordinary pop R&B ish. Originaly he was introduced by Giles Peterson through Brownswood labal, then José got a deal with good old Blue Note label. This opportunity changed a part of his musical style, so this album includes more rock oriented songs, but if you like a singer like Aloe Blacc, you should try José too.
