    This album was one of the best albums in 2013 without a doubt. And this video features some scenes from relationship between lead vocal member Syd and her girlfriend through intentional black & white expression. Impressive.

    It’s still not so many expression like this around the world, and it’s beautiful, nice & brave in same time. Hope the world can change that I don’t need to write like ↑this.

    Shabazz Palaces well known to longtime music lovers, because he once get the grammy as a member of the Digable Planets in 90s. But now, he releases his works under the name Shabazz Palaces. His music is so interesting cuz he doesn’t care about pop hit anymore, It seems he just want to mixture recent bass & beats music into his own feelings with rap/poetry.

    It’s a bit dark but energetic and cool.
    We can’t get something like this from anyone else.

    I never aware of UO music. It’s a music label/service/sub-brand by big apparel retailer Urban Outfitters and they features good and unique artist named Dev Hynes goes by the name of Blood Orange. Like in this video, he approaches through 80s influenced style of soul music and it made with partly thin taste on purpose.

    As everybody knows, almost all of recent pop music from African American people became more “white,” but Blood Orange get into that kind of music because of his love, and it made his music so cool. In this point, the visuals of this video emphasize the concept of his music.

    Also you can find a lady Gia Coppola, the grand daughter of the Coppola directed this video and show her appreciation with Blood Orange. It’s pretty…interesting, anyway.
